Gran Akuma of F.I.S.T. 8/10/2009: After seven years of hard work, July 25th, 2009 was supposed to be a dream come true for me. Since the day I started training, what I've wanted to more than anything...is a chance to wrestle in Japan. Dragon Gate, my favorite Japanese wrestling organization, was opening a branch in the United States - and I was a part of it. It was my chance to turn some heads, to impress the Dragon Gate office and to claim a spot on that roster. In my Pay-Per-View debut, all that stood between me and everything I've ever wanted in wrestling was one pinfall. Then...in a flash...it was taken away from me.

While bodies were seemingly flying everywhere, a saluting Soldier Ant sailed through the ropes into me, driving me into the security railing. The next thing I know, my chance is gone. Jigsaw is in the ring celebrating to a loud ovation, as I lay dazed on the cold concrete. On that day, losing wasn't the issue - but because I didn't win, I had to watch my dream go up in smoke. The one thing I've lived and breathed for these last seven years.

It's what I do.

So when Quack made his open challenge, and I watched Yamato make his way to the ring, I knew something big was about to go down. When Jigsaw ran out and attacked Yamato from behind, I recognized my chance to pull victory from the ashes of defeat. With one swift kick - something I excel at - I made a connection with Yamato, the fastest rising star in Dragon Gate. While the other CHIKARA guys were trying to make an impression...I made an impact. While the other CHIKARA guys were making nice, I made an ally. The other CHIKARA guys Opened the Historic Gate...

I kicked it off it's hinges.

But just because I'm making waves in DGUSA, don't think I've lost focus on CHIKARA. Six days after Yamato and I punked out Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw in our PPV debut show, Icarus and I beat them in the middle of the ring in Reading...earning our 2nd point. F.I.S.T. is on a roll, and we have no intention of slowing down. Having won the King of Trios tournament, F.I.S.T. picked up something we were lacking - momentum.

F.I.S.T. is on the verge of doing something that has never been done before in CHIKARA history. We're one point away from a shot at the Campeonatos de Parejas; the titles we never lost. We're just one match away from climbing back up on top of the mountain in CHIKARA, right back where we belong. After we conquer CHIKARA, Dragon Gate, you're next on the agenda. We're one pinfall away from being the first two-time Campeones de Parejas in history. One pinfall away.

And this time, that WON'T be taken away.
